Sam G. Potter is an American actor, author, and media producer with a commanding screen presence and a proven ability to bring depth, grit, and authenticity to every role. Known for portraying characters of authority, resilience, and conviction, Sam thrives in roles that demand both strength and nuance, charismatic leaders, military and law enforcement figures, corporate power players, and grounded family men.

Sam’s acting credits include the starring role in the legal anthology series The Legal Pad, where he plays the role of Daniel Simms, the lead attorney and patriarch of the law firm Simms Law.
Sam also plays a starring role in the upcoming movie The Potter Directive as the father of the main character, Shane Potter. In the new film Lantern 9: Last Light, Sam plays the captain and the leader of a crew aboard the starship Lantern 9. Sam was also the primary host for the television show Action Outdoors TV, which was a hit outdoor adventure show in the early 2000s (56 episodes). Recently, Sam also played a background acting role in the hit series Homestead, where he was a government antagonist (Episodes 3–8, Season 1). In the new horror movie Slay Day, Sam was a cameraman on a news crew covering murders in the movie (BG). His on-camera experience is strengthened by years of professional voiceover work for the U.S. Army, the Propane Industry, as well as training in combat and firearms, bringing realism to his action-driven performances.

Beyond the screen, Sam is a seasoned storyteller, having authored more than a dozen books spanning political thrillers, science fiction epics, and children’s literature.
